The representatives of the Indonesian Teqball Federation visited the leadership of FITEQ in Budapest to share their vision.

FITEQ focuses heavily on the evolvement of the national federations of Teqball worldwide. With the new management, the Indonesian federation visited the HQ of the governing body.

Teqball is getting more prominent and more popular in the Southeast Asian region. Teqers from Thailand have already won in Dubai, at the very first tournament in the Middle East in March, while at the 32nd SEA Games among all the sports, the debuting Teqball created the biggest buzz in Cambodia.

At the event, Indonesia got two silver medals (both in singles) which shows how quickly Teqball developed in the island country.

Jovinus Carolus Legawa, President of the Indonesian Teqball Federation stated that there are more and more athletes in the country, while the number of followers is also increasing. “We promote Teqball everywhere. In schools, in communities, and every event possible. People love it because it is spectacular and the players are very talented.”

“As the new board took over INATEQ, we are ready to host the highest ranked events of Teqball, however, in 2023 Bali organises the Asian Beach Games and we hope that our beloved sport can be part of the program even though we do not have too much time.” – highlighted the president.

Viktor Huszar, Chairman of FITEQ, Laszlo Vajda, Secretary General of FITEQ and Zita Klinger, Sport Development Manager, responsible of the area awaited the delegation from Asia.

Laszlo Vajda praised the presentation which the representatives of INATEQ showed. “The members of the management are top of the industry, they are very professionals, thus I am sure that the steering wheel is in the right hands. They are ambitious and we at FITEQ are always ready to help our national federations because we can develop only together.”
