Ronaldinho to attend European Teqball Tour Budapest

FITEQ are delighted to announce that world renowned Brazilian footballer, Ronaldinho, will be attending the European Teqball Tour in Budapest next week.

Ronaldinho is considered one of the greatest talents to have ever graced football pitches and was the FIFA World Player of the Year consecutively in 2004 and 2005. He will be attending the last day of the Tour on 2 October to show his continued support for the sport which he helped introduce to the world in 2016.

The event, which runs from 29 September to 2 October, is the first stage of the qualification process for the teqball competitions at the European Games 2023 where all five event categories will feature (men’s and women’s singles and doubles, and mixed doubles).

150 athletes from 29 countries will be competing in Budapest for the chance to qualify for the European Championship which will take place in Krakow, Poland between 21 June - 2 July next year.

Ronaldinho, who is the Teqball Ambassador, has been invited by FITEQ to the European Teqball Tour at the Riz Levente Sports Hall in Budapest to meet fans and journalists.
