PROSPECTUS
BELGIAN INTERNATIONAL TEQBALL OPEN
As FITEQ has approved the application form, the Belgian International Teqball Open will be organized as Event Category V, with the option to upgrade to Event Category IV after a successfully completed event.
Registration:
Registration opens on the 8th of February 2024 at 12:00 PM (CET) and closes on the 04th of March 2024 at 12:00 PM (CET).
To register for our competition, send your surname, first name, FITEQ ID, country and desired categories by email to [email protected].
Include your partner's details if you register in doubles category. Each athlete may register a maximum of 2 categories. Only four teams per nation may be registered per category.
Please make arrangements with your national federation for registrations, as it's first come, first served. We reserve the right to grant 4 wild cards per category.

5th and 6th of April: Group stage and KO stage - Centre Sportif de Wavre - Avenue du Centre Sportif 22, Wavre, Brabant Wallon, 1300
7th of April: Finals - Sucrerie à Wavre - Chem. de la Sucrerie 2, 1301 Wavre, Belgium
Competition format:
Men’s Singles:
30 teams are authorised. Athletes will be divided into 10 groups of 3 teams. The groups will be drawn according to Hats 1, 2 and 3, depending on your international ranking. The top 1 and 6 best top 2 teams of all groups qualify for the knock-out stage.
Women’s Singles
24 teams are authorised. Athletes will be divided into 8 groups of 3 teams. The groups will be drawn according to Hats 1, 2 and 3, depending on your international ranking. The top 2 teams in each group qualify for the knock-out stage.
Men’s Doubles
24 teams are authorised. Teams will be divided into 8 groups of 3 teams. The groups will be drawn according to Hats 1, 2 and 3, depending on your international ranking. The top 2 teams in each group qualify for the knock-out stage.
Mixed Doubles
24 teams are authorised. Teams will be divided into 8 groups of 3 teams. The groups will be drawn according to Hats 1, 2 and 3, depending on your international ranking. The top 2 teams in each group qualify for the knock-out stage.
Women’s Doubles
12 teams are authorised. Teams will be divided into 4 groups of 3 teams. The groups will be drawn according to Hats 1, 2 and 3, depending on your international ranking.The top 2 teams in each group qualify for the knock-out stage.

Singles:
1st: 400 EUR
2nd: 200 EUR
3rd: 100 EUR
Doubles:
1st: 600 EUR
2nd: 300 EUR
3rd: 150 EUR
FITEQ, as the supervising federation, exclusively provides support through the allocation of World Ranking points.
