NEW RULE PROPOSALS TO BE TESTED DURING THE EVENT
As part of this Teqball competition, exciting new rule proposals will be tested to gather feedback from athletes after experiencing these changes firsthand. The rules under trial are:
- Second Service Attempt with the Head: If a player faults on the first service attempt, the second service must be delivered using the head.
- Mixed Doubles Service Rule: In mixed doubles, male players will serve to male players and female players to female players, streamlining the referee's decision-making by only needing to consult the receiver to confirm the server.
- Service Change Rotation: The first service change will occur without a position swap, followed by position changes on both sides during the next service exchange.
Share Your Feedback!
We value your opinion! After the event, athletes are encouraged to share their reflections on the new rules and submit additional ideas via this feedback form. Your input will help shape the future of these proposals. We look forward to hearing your thoughts!
