Challenger Teqball League - Odorheiu Secuiesc
NEW RULE PROPOSALS TO BE TESTED DURING THE EVENT
During the upcoming Challenger Teqball League event, selected amendments and clarifications to the Laws of the Game will be applied under competition conditions, based on athlete feedback received after the previous Challenger Teqball League event.
Implemented rule
1. Two-serve system
The two-serve system will be applied in place of the current four-serve rotation. This change will be fully implemented across all Teqball competitions.
Rules under testing
1. Smashes
Smashes will be permitted to leave the Field of Play on a limited basis.
Each athlete (in singles) or pair (in doubles) will be allowed two smashes per set that result in the ball leaving the Field of Play.
If any additional smash leaves the Field of Play beyond this limit, it will be deemed as out, and the point will be awarded to the opponent.
2. Edgeball during play
If an edgeball occurs during a rally following a valid service, the point will be replayed, and play will restart from the original service situation:
If the edgeball occurs after the first service, the rally will restart with a new first service.
If the edgeball occurs after the second service, the rally will restart with a new second service.
Share Your Feedback!
We value your opinion! After the event, athletes are encouraged to share their reflections on the new rules and submit additional ideas via this feedback form. Your input will help shape the future of these proposals. We look forward to hearing your thoughts!
