FITEQ Pays Official Visit to BODA in Beijing
The International Teqball Federation (FITEQ) continued its active engagement in China this week, as Laszlo Vajda, Secretary General of FITEQ, paid an official visit to the headquarters of the Beijing Olympic City Development Association (BODA) in Beijing, a long-time collaborative partner of FITEQ.
During the visit, Mr Hui YAO, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of BODA, who was appointed to the role three months ago, welcomed the FITEQ Secretary General forfriendly and productive discussions focused on the continued growth of Teqball in Beijing and across China.
The meeting provided an opportunity to review current developments in Chinese sport and exchange updates on the recent progress of Teqball on the international stage. Particular attention was given to the successful inclusion of Teqball at the 6th Asian Beach Games in Sanya, where Team China delivered encouraging performances, further underlining the sport’s growing competitive strength in the region.
This official visit further strengthens the partnership between FITEQ and BODA, which was first formalised through the Memorandum of Understanding signed in June 2024. Looking ahead, both organisations will maintain open and forward-looking cooperation to build sustainable growth for Teqball.
