The International Teqball Federation (FITEQ) is pleased to announce an important update regarding the upcoming Teqball Tour event in Dezhou, as the tournament programme has been expanded with the addition of a new category.

 

Women’s Singles has been officially added to the event, broadening the competitive offering and creating a more diverse tournament structure.

 

As a result, the event will now feature three categories:

• Men’s Doubles
• Mixed Doubles
• Women’s Singles

 

The addition of Women’s Singles represents another meaningful step in the continued development of Teqball’s competitive landscape. It creates a dedicated platform for female athletes to showcase their talent on the international stage, while also strengthening the overall sporting programme of the event. Reflecting the expanded scope of the competition, the overall prize pool has also been increased, adding further significance to what promises to be a highly competitive event.

 

Following the successful Asian Beach Games in Sanya, the Teqball Tour stop in Dezhou marks another exciting chapter in the 2026 season, further building on the sport’s growing momentum in China and across Asia. With three categories now on the programme, the event is set to deliver an even wider range of high-level competition while continuing to showcase the dynamic appeal of Teqball on the international stage.
