The International Federation of Teqball (FITEQ) has reached another significant milestone on its journey toward IOC Recognition with the IOC formally opening its Recognition Platform Portal. This marks the beginning of an important new phase, one that reflects the federation's continued commitment to excellence as it strives for obtaining IOC Recognition.

Following the submission of the initial materials this February, FITEQ has received encouraging pre-questionnaire feedback from the IOC. The comments include valuable fine-tuning suggestions and requests for additional details, providing an excellent opportunity to further strengthen the federation's application and demonstrate the maturity of its governance and operations.

The process extends well beyond completing forms. It is a comprehensive review of every aspect of an international federation, from governance and organizational structure to sporting activities, education, athlete development, national federation relations, and the delivery of world-class events and competitions. Each step offers an opportunity to showcase the remarkable progress Teqball has made since the establishment of FITEQ.

One of the key focuses during this stage is the continued refinement of FITEQ's governance framework to ensure full alignment with the IOC's Good Governance principles. These enhancements reinforce the federation's dedication to accountability, integrity, inclusivity, and sustainable development—values that are fundamental to the future of international sport.

The work ahead will involve close collaboration with the various IOC Departments through a process lead by the IOC Sport Department.
