NF Impact Forum series continues in 2024

For the fourth time, FITEQ organized the NF Impact Forum to help develop its more than 150 national federations worldwide.

Dr. Donald Rukare, legal specialist, and arbitrator of CAS presented to the NF leaders for the third occasion.

The governing body of Teqball, FITEQ created a new way for its national federations to reach the next level in many aspects. The NF Impact Forum serves the purpose of better understanding the international federation's vision while giving tools in the hands of the NFs to evolve. The first occasion was held in May 2023 by Bela Muller, Head of Communications at FITEQ about social media, PR, event communication, and creating viral content. Dr. Donald Rukare as guest presenter continued the education.

Dr. Rukare started with 'Introduction to Sports Governance Architecture – Leadership and Governance' in September, which was followed by Managing the Sports Federation in October, while this time Strategy planning and Safeguarding Athletes was the topic.

Andrew Lepani, President of the National Teqball Federation of Papua New Guinea expressed his positive feelings towards the forum "Safeguarding is a key component of the sport for development program I also work on. It's great to have FITEQ organize these sessions on topics that are key to helping us as national federations become better. Mr. Rukare is a great facilitator and he explains the topics and their relevance well. Even if you are familiar with the topics, the sessions are a good refresher, and it's always nice to see fellow Teqball members."

Almost 60 countries participated in the conference and all five continents were represented. The NF Impact Forum continues with programs about sponsorship, IT and admin platform introduction, competition organizing, and many more.
