Preparations for the Pakistan Teqball Challenger Cup 2026 have stepped up with the launch of a High-Performance Teqball Training Camp in Swat, bringing together leading athletes and emerging local talents as part of the continued development of the sport in Pakistan.
The training camp has been organised by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Teqball Association in collaboration with the Regional Sports Office Swat, with the programme designed to provide athletes with a structured preparation period ahead of the upcoming national competition.
Top-ranked Pakistani players from different competition categories have joined talented athletes from the Swat region for the camp. The programme combines technical and tactical training with fitness and agility sessions, reaction drills and competitive practice matches, providing participants with comprehensive preparation for the Pakistan Teqball Challenger Cup 2026.
The initiative was led by Akhtar Rasool (PAK), Vice President of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Teqball Association, who coordinated the organisation of the camp and the arrangements required to deliver the programme.
Representatives of the association highlighted the importance of high-performance training opportunities in supporting the long-term development of athletes, while also creating a pathway for emerging players to gain experience alongside more established competitors.
The camp also reflects the continued efforts to strengthen the Teqball community in Pakistan by creating further opportunities for structured training, athlete development and competitive participation at national level.
The organisers expressed their appreciation to Regional Sports Officer Swat Dr. Hazrat Ullah (PAK), Deputy Commissioner Swat Saleem Jan (PAK), Swat Teqball Association President Jamal Aziz (PAK), and Executive Member Yasir Aziz (PAK) for their support and contribution to the successful delivery of the training camp.
