Panama Teqball Federation targets youth engagement

The Panama Teqball Federation is looking to increase youth engagement in teqball by partnering with schools across the country.

The new initiative started at the Balboa Academy International School in Ciudad del Saber, which is a government-funded cluster of academic organisations, technology companies, and NGOs. The Panama Teqball Federation has plans to provide more schools across the country with the opportunity to practice the sport.

Teqball is the fastest growing sport in Panama and the national teqball federation is looking to build strong foundations amongst the future generation of athletes and sports fans.

The Panama Teqball Federation is recognised by both FITEQ and the Panama Olympic Committee. The growth of the sport has been led by President Mónica Franco Luzcando, who also works for the Panama Olympic Committee.
