FITEQ hosts training camp for young teqers in Budapest

FITEQ hosted a training camp for the Hungarian national junior teqball team at the FITEQ headquarters in Budapest, with team members Zsófia Dezsényi, Jenő Vajthó, Patrik Tóth Benjámin, Milán Csábi and Dániel Varga in attendance. The team was coached by several Hungarian teqball players to ensure a well-rounded learning experience.

First was teqball player Martin Csereklye, ranked 11 in the men’s singles World Ranking, who paid special attention to teamwork unity to ensure the young players could strengthen their in-game group harmony.

Next was world champion Zsanett Janicsek, who lead an immersive set of drills designed to improve technical skills and prepare the players for intense game situations through working on the players explosiveness and endurance.

Patrik Borbély then assessed players one by one and gave each player an individually tailored reaction test designed to improve coordination, before the players then took part in individual and doubles matches, as well as a mini doubles tournament.

Throughout the day, players had access to nutritional advice and supplies provided by the Hungarian Teqball Federation to ensure the young teqers could keep their energy levels high throughout the day.

These camp days continue to be an excellent opportunity for aspiring stars to improve upon existing skills and build game intelligence. Through spending time training young players both as individuals and as a group, FITEQ is showing its commitment to investing in the next generation of teqball players.
