Teqball continues to grow throughout Europe, as the idyllic Luštica Bay in Montenegro hosted a 12-team championship on Sunday 24 July.

The event was organised by Teqball Montenegro, building on the national federation’s TEQ Lite table donation to the Luštica Development company on 3 July. The tournament was officially opened by the Montenegrin State Secretary for Sports and Youth Mr Savo Rašović.

At the culmination of the event at the Centrale Sport Court, representatives of the Kurjaci team, Marko Žarković and Andrija Jovanović, were crowned champions after a string of impressive performances. In addition to the tournament, a friendly women’s singles match also took place to promote the opportunities for women in teqball.

FITEQ would like to thank all participants and supporters, as well as Mr Savo Rašović and Teqball Montenegro for their roles in organising the successful event in Luštica Bay.

Teqball continues to build momentum in Montenegro, with the next event set to be held on 7 August.
