FITEQ has published its latest World Rankings, with changes in all five categories after important competitions took place in Los Angeles and Presov, Slovakia, during October.

In the women’s singles, Alicja Bartnicka rose one place to 15 following her bronze medal at the Presov Challenger Cup, whilst Iva Buřvalová’s efforts at the event saw her also climb one space to 18.

The Brazilian partnership of Vania Moraes Da Cruz and Ester Viana Mendes rose to 7 and 12 respectively in the women’s doubles category after their triumphant win at the USA Teqball Tour in Los Angeles. The duo beat world number 1 and 2 players Carolyn Greco and Margaret Osmundson in the semi-finals, and world number 5 and 6 Lea Vasas and Zsanett Janicsek in the final.

In the men’s doubles, Balazs Katz rose from 7 to 5 following his victory in Los Angeles alongside world number 3 men’s doubles player Csaba Banyik. Julien Grondin dropped 1 spot to 9 after his unfortunate injury stopped him from participating in LA.
