FITEQ encourages all teqers to register for ITA’s first webinar of the year

Following the success of the International Testing Agency’s (ITA) 2021 monthly anti-doping education webinars, the organisation has launched its 2022 series

Following the success of the International Testing Agency’s (ITA) 2021 monthly anti-doping education webinars, the organisation has launched its 2022 series. These webinars will continue to be delivered in English, and simultaneously translated to Arabic, French, Russian and Spanish.

One of the purposes of these sessions is to break down the complexities of the anti-doping landscape, presenting topics in an engaging and athlete-friendly manner. With the help of experts and athlete guests, the ITA will deliver anti-doping education informally and in a relaxed setting, offering interaction with participants and welcoming live questions throughout the sessions.

Thanks to the support of Informed Sport, the ITA is offering this programme to the sporting community free of charge. As an ITA partner, FITEQ encourages all athletes to attend the webinar series. Registration opens around two weeks before each webinar and relevant details will be published on the FITEQ website.

Registration is now open for the January session, the topic of which is Building Clean Sport Communities. Andrew Heyes, Dr. Aya Nakitanda OLY and Jared Tallent OLY will discuss the importance of a clean sport community and how, in whatever role we have, we can make a valuable contribution to ensuring our environment is doping free.
