
Odorheiu Secuiesc to Host World Teqball Championships 2025
Odorheiu Secuiesc, Romania, is set to become the global stage of Teqball as it will host the 8th edition of the World Teqball Championships from 3 – 7 December 2025. The historic city in the heart of the scenic Carpathian Mountain range will welcome the world’s best Teqball players for five days of top-level competition.
All five official categories – men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles – will be contested, offering fans a complete showcase of the sport at the highest international level.
This marks the first time Romania will host Teqball’s flagship event, adding a new chapter to the history of the World Teqball Championships. Odorheiu Secuiesc now joins the distinguished list of host cities that includes Ho Chi Minh City (VIE), Bangkok (THA), Nuremberg (GER), Gliwice (POL), Reims (FRA), and Budapest (HUN), where the event was staged twice.
The 2025 edition is set to deliver world-class matches, intense rivalries, and a celebration of Teqball’s continued global expansion.
