EYTC - Draw is done in all categories!

The draw is done for the European Youth Teqball Championships with 15 nations.

The inaugural European Youth Teqball Championships will be held in Pecs, Hungary, on August 18 & 19. Although the registration was over, the International Federation of Teqball (FITEQ) decided to make changes and add an additional nation to grow further. At Teqball's first U19 continental championships, 49 athletes representing 15 nations will compete in five categories.

The International Federation of Teqball, in collaboration with the recently established European Federation of Teqball (CETEQ), organise the very first European Youth Teqball Championships—a historic milestone in the development of the sport. Young athletes aged 14 to 19 from all around Europe arrive in one of the most beautiful cities of Hungary to face each other for becoming the very first European youth champions with a bold and youthful brand identity.

Austria, Germany, Portugal, Bulgaria, Greece, Denmark, Belgium, Czech Republic, Moldova, Italy, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Israel - as the additional nation, and the hosts, Hungary, are the 15 nations competing in men's & women's singles, and men's & women's & mixed doubles.

The biggest field came together in men's singles, where every nation is represented (15). In men's doubles, 11 pairs (22 athletes) registered, while in mixed doubles, 9 twosomes (18 athletes). In women's singles, 9 girls face each other, and the smallest field is in women's doubles with 6 pairs (12 athletes).

In men's singles, Alexander Hamm (AUT) and Martim Vasques are in the same group just as Saxe Paarup-Clausen (DEN) and Peter Gergely (ROU). These clashes bring tension already in the group stage.

The youngest competitor is Gavriel Helin Zerrad from Israel, who just turned 14 this May, while the oldest one is Michal Molnar (SVK), who will be 20 in January.
