The International Teqball Federation (FITEQ) expresses its deepest condolences following the passing of His Highness the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, former Amir of the State of Qatar.

His Highness will be remembered as a visionary leader whose dedication to the development of sport, education, and international cooperation left a lasting legacy in Qatar and beyond. Through his unwavering support for sport and innovation, he helped create opportunities for emerging sports including Teqball to grow and flourish.

His encouragement of international sporting cooperation and his commitment to expanding sporting opportunities contributed to Teqball's continued growth across Asia. On behalf of the global Teqball family, FITEQ extends its sincere sympathies to the Royal Family, and the people of Qatar during this time of mourning.
