FITEQ mourns the passing of Raja Randhir Singh

The International Teqball Federation (FITEQ) is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of IOC Honorary Member, former Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) President and ANOC Vice President, and H.E. Raja Randhir Singh.

 

A highly respected figure within the global Olympic Movement, Raja Randhir Singh dedicated his life to sport both as an athlete and as a sports leader. 

 

The deep gratitude of the global Teqball community is due to H.E. Raja Randhir Singh’sgenuine interest in the international growth and future potential of Teqball, particularly in Asia. He was a strong advocate and supporter of the recognition of Teqball by OCA, a groundbreaking milestone for the sport.

 

In a sincerely personal note, FITEQ Chairman Dr Viktor Huszár expressed his condolences:

 

“Raja Randhir Singh was a highly respected leader whose contribution to Asian and international sport will never be forgotten. He always showed kindness, openness and support towards Teqball and its development. As we had a personal, friendly relationship, I am utterlygrateful for his continuous encouragement and guidance he showed towards our sport throughout the years. On behalf of the entire Teqball family, we extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends and the entire Olympic community.”
